This CAN'T be good
Stories like this make me absolutely cringe.
Because once they are predicted to win, OF COURSE they're not going to. Doesn't anyone know how this works???
A sample of quotes from the article that make me angsty:
"We want to be the first on our block to announce: The Red Sox are going to win the World Series."
"If they don't win it this year, they'll never win it. Ever."
"The Red Sox are the logical pick," said one scout, "except for one thing: They're the Red Sox."
Duh.

Not to jinx it or anything but back in 2002 the same thing happened with Giants. They took a 3-2 World Series lead and they were basically crowned Champions. And then they lost the final two games and went home. Their champaign still cooling in the visitor's locker room.

ps. Here's hoping the Dolphins humilate the Pats on Sunday. If Miami finds a way to win I'll forgive the Patriots for cheating back in 2001.
