Hair hair hair hair hair, hair hair hair

Last weekend, a certain hairdresser - let's call her K. Treier...no, that's too obvious, how about Kia. T - made what I can only hope was an error in judgment, and not some expression of repressed rage towards me, while cutting my hair. As it turns out, she forgot to put the guard on the hair clippers, rendering one little slice of my head quite bare. The incident was documented below.

From this view it's not so bad right?

How about that?? Does that do anything for you?

To make matters worse, the hairdresser in question sent pictures to her sisters, one of whom asked, "So does Aaron know about it?" How cruel would that be? Sending me out into the world not realizing that I looked like the kid at the sleepover who fell asleep first.

I've been telling people that I had a little brain surgery over the weekend, but everything's fine now. And at least it's winter, so I can wear a hat a lot. Turns out that a baseball cap doesn't really do the job, but a winter hat works nicely. And as everyone's been saying, at least my internship interviews are over.

Which brings me to my next point - I matched for internship! I found out yesterday, but don't find out where until Monday. It's this great policy that the match system has, really does wonders for one's anxiety levels. But at least I know I'm going somewhere, which is a relief. And strange, too, to think that in a few months I'll be leaving St. Louis. But more on the next stage when I find out. Until then, I'll be looking into Rogaine or a toupee or something.

Yeah, that's a good question. It's looking less and less like a "mistake" to me...

This is maybe the single greatest thing that anyone has ever done, ever.

Thank you, Kia. Your actions are an inspiration to us all.

Also, Beej, can we all shave our initials into your haircut during the reunion?
