Why not me?

Like so many before me, why don't I tell you what I'm listening to now. Actually, I'll just tell you about my two most recent musical acquisitions:

Iron & Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days (sweet, mellow, really good...I love it already)
Bonnie Prince Billy (aka Will Oldham) - Ease Down the Road

In addition, I just saw that Ritter is coming to STL in October and playing at Mississippi Nights, opening for the Frames.

as an owner of both those cds...I have to say I like Ease Down the Road best.. it's delightful.

Have fun seeing josh...he's coming no where near DC.

I think he's coming to Falls Church, isn't he? It ain't DC, but it's close.

yes...both fantastic albums, though I highly recommend the more recent Iron and Wine ep: Woman King...Sam Beam (aka, Iron and Wine) has an uncanny ability to write songs that continually sound relevant and interesting. The new songs on the ep are also a bit more lively. I also highly recommend the new Spoon album (and if you don;t have it, their previous album Kill the Moonlight is a MUST!). -D$

Yep, Josh is coming to Falls Church. I'm kind of bummed that he's not playing Iota again.

In musical recommendations, my newest acquisition is Arcade Fire, which is this great, powerful mix of Bowie, Gang of Four, and the Jesus and Mary Chain. Plus, it has violins and horns. Great stuff.

Yeah, I guess he's too big for Iota now. Or that other place, where he played with Jimmy Dale Gilmore.
