Planes, trains, and automobiles

Sorry about the extended hiatus from posting. Among the things I've been doing in my absence:

-taking dance lessons and learning to lead effectively
-putting together a presentation in which I present my ideas for my dissertation to my dissertation committee, including my advisor who was present over the iChat while in England
-attending my own wedding shower in Massachusetts
-unwrapping lots of gifts
-deciding whether to go to Atlanta or San Diego in October (sorry, ATL - I'm afraid the SD wins out)
-taking a 10-hour train ride from Boston to Albany to Rochester, where I find myself now

I unfortunately have to leave it at that. But there will be more to come when I get back to St. Louis.
